Zoo Design Inc was asked by the World Associated on Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) to design 1.) An info graphic linking visitor experience with elephant care, welfare, and wellness. 2.) The cover of their conservation magazine, volume 17.
solution.
The provided text was presented as two cards with corresponding rows distinguished with alternating transparent strips for easy reading. The customized background image of a boy pointing to an elephant emphasizes the interaction between visitors and animals while keeping the columns separate. For magazine cover, a real image was altered to simplify the details and draw attention to the interaction between zoo visitors and the animals.

To keep things fresh, Zoo Design Inc often changes the featured animal in their logo. As the company stays current with conservation efforts and practices, they do their part to raise awareness and excitement about each species. For consistency, the red font persists each year as well the depiction of parent/child relationship among animals. The Principal chooses the animal each year.
solution.
Each design starts out as a hand drawing that is later vectorized. The Pangolin logo displays the relatable playfulness between parent and child. The Saola logo depicts the shy nature of the animal.
